Psychiatric Evaluations, Medication Management & Pharmacogenetic Testing

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluations

Duration: 60 minutes

Our comprehensive psychiatric evaluations are designed to provide a thorough understanding of your mental health. During this 60-minute session, we will:

  • Conduct an in-depth assessment of your mental health history and current concerns.
  • Provide psychoeducation to help you understand your diagnosis and treatment options.
  • Offer personalized treatment recommendations to address your specific needs.

These evaluations are the first step in creating an effective treatment plan tailored to you.

Follow-Up Medication Management Sessions

Duration: 20 minutes

These sessions are essential for monitoring and adjusting your medication as needed. During each 20-minute follow-up session, we will:

  • Assess the efficacy and tolerance of your current medication regimen.
  • Discuss any necessary changes to your medication based on your progress and any side effects you may be experiencing.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure your treatment remains effective and appropriate.

Add-On Psychotherapy: If supportive psychotherapy (including active listening, validation, feedback, etc.) is provided for 16 minutes or more during your session, it will be billed as add-on psychotherapy. Please inform us at the beginning of your session if you would like to include or exclude this service.

Pharmacogenetic Testing

Pharmacogenomic testing can help determine how your genes affect your response to medications. This service is particularly beneficial for those who have experienced multiple failed medication trials. Key benefits include:

  • Personalized medication recommendations based on your genetic profile.
  • Increased likelihood of finding effective medications with fewer side effects.
  • Most insurance companies cover this test.
